Life: You Try Something

Good New Things

New Forklift, Ohio (#21) arrived containing a couple of my poems and poems by cool poets, including Russell Dillon who once sported a rich beard, and at other times did not, but I remember him as rich-bearded Russell.

Also there was the reading last night in Muncie, with Daniel Bailey and Nathan Logan. And they did terrific. I got Nate's chapbook The State That I Am In. Dan had previously sent me his new book The Drunk Sonnets, so I didn't get that, but, like I said, I had it. It was good to see them both, knowing that they're doing well and being poets, like, poets. People writing poetry are people who are actively trying to do no harm. So good for us! We're like doctors.
